I first met Dawn when we joined the Massage Envy brand over 11 years ago. At that time, there were about 300 locations open and Dawn had been at the forefront of branding and positioning Massage Envy as the brand leader in it’s category. It was an exciting time as it was one of the first service based franchises and we were in unchartered waters. Dawn was diligent with both growing and protecting the brand and the marks at the same time, Massage Envy has since grown to over 1,000 locations. I had the pleasure of re-joining Dawn in another Baby Brand named Amazing Lash Studio. Dawn joined the brand as the interim COO, while there was some transition amongst the upper echelons of leadership. Always the Team player, Dawn accepted the role of CMO at Amazing Lash Studio when the dust settled and a strong leadership team was put into place. Dawn embraced her role and was instrumental in guiding the brand from under 50 locations to over 200+ in a short span of time. During her tenure at Amazing Lash Studio, the brand received a great number of accolades including consistently moving up the rankings of top new franchises and currently sits at #4 on the Entrepreneur Magazine prestigious list. As a franchisee and Regional Developer, Dawn was always a phone call away and would willingly engage and listen to my opinions. The communication was always 2 way with Dawn, and her work ethic and passion is unparalleled. I was sad to see her move on to new challenges, but know that she will be instrumental in helping yet another brand reach it’s next level of potential.
